Question:
Where can my child get immunized?
Answer:
You can book an appointment for your child to get immunized at your local health unit.*
- Public health nurses provide routine vaccines for free, can answer your questions, and can review your child's record to make sure their vaccines are up to date.
- Some family doctors and nurse practitioners also give vaccines.
- Travel and additional vaccines you can buy for extra protection are available through travel clinics and most pharmacies.
School-age vaccines are given by public health nurses at clinics held at schools.
