Question:

I received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine outside of BC. How do I get this information into the provincial immunization database if I moved to BC? What if I received the vaccine outside of Canada?

Answer:
Please note that the information below pertains to getting your COVID-19 vaccinations registered with BC. If you are looking for information about BC's vaccine card (and proof of vaccination), please click here.

If you have already received a COVID-19 vaccine outside of B.C., you must record your vaccination through the Submit/Update My COVID-19 Immunization Record form. More information on what you need to include on your form—including proof of vaccination—can be found on the site (https://immunizationrecord.gov.bc.ca/).

If you do not have all of the required information, you will need to register by phone at 1-833-838-2323 and you will be assisted by an agent. Full details on how to report your out-of-province vaccination can be found on the Immunization Record website, linked above.
