Which vaccine has to repeat every five years?...

Question:

Which vaccine has to repeat every five years?

Answer:

In the BC routine immunization schedules, there is not a vaccine that repeats every 5 (five) years. However, for some people with specific health conditions or medical treatments, there may be additional vaccine recommendations. For example, certain medically high-risk people receive Meningococcal Quadrivalent Conjugate Vaccines (Groups A, C, Y, W-135) every five years for as long as that medical condition exists. If you are uncertain about which vaccines are recommended for you, please speak with your health care provider.
