I got my flu shot at the Shoppers Drug Mart but don't know...

Question:

I got my flu shot at the Shoppers Drug Mart but don't know if it was a high dose flu shot or a quadrivalent or trivalent flu shot. Do you know if all the free vaccines are the same

Answer:

Please contact the Shopper's Drug Mart that provided your influenza vaccine (flu shot) and ask which vaccine you received. The high-dose influenza vaccine is publicly funded (free) for those 65 years of age and older and living in long term care or assisted living. The quadrivalent (4-strain) influenza vaccines are prioritized for children. Learn more about influenza vaccines in BC here.
