I am 73 years of age, having never had the measles or the vaccine, do I need to get the vaccine now?
People born before 1970 (1957 for health care workers) are generally assumed to have acquired immunity to measles from natural infection. However, people born before 1970 without a history of measles disease or measles vaccination, should talk to their health care provider about getting the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine.
