I’m a 68 year old who received the regular influenza vaccine because my immunizer had not yet received the enhanced influenza vaccine for people 65 and over (FLUAD®). Should I get it now since it is now available?

I’m a 68 year old who received the regular influenza vaccine because my immunizer had not yet received the enhanced influenza vaccine for people 65 and over (FLUAD®). Should I get FLUAD® now since it is now available?
 
Answer: 
When FLUAD® is not available it is recommended that people receive FLUZONE® QUADRIVALENT instead of recommending that people wait for FLUAD® supply or travel to receive FLUAD®. People 65 years of age and older who receive a standard formulation influenza vaccine within the season are not advised to receive another dose of enhanced influenza vaccine within the same season.
