Hi there, I'm curious if I can get just a specific vaccine for my toddler rather than the bundle? tetanus, for example.
Some of the vaccines that are routinely recommended for children in BC are available as single antigen vaccines (e.g., hepatitis B vaccine and varicella vaccine). Others are available only as combination vaccines (e.g., measles, mumps, rubella vaccine and tetanus-containing vaccines).
It is recommended that children are vaccinated according to the routine schedule. We recommend that you discuss this further with your doctor or public health nurse. You can find the contact information for your local public health unit here: http://immunizebc.ca/finder.
