Question:

Can anyone living in BC get the COVID-19 vaccine? What if I don’t have health insurance? What if I am a visitor from another part of Canada or another country? What if I don’t have MSP or a PHN? What if I am an international student? What if I am not a permanent resident?

Answer:
Yes. If you are living in B.C. during the pandemic you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine for free. We want everyone to get vaccinated, even if you don’t have a Personal Health Number or other documentation. It doesn't matter if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. You can be a temporary visitor or international student.

You need a public health number in order to register online. If you do not have a public health number, you need to register for your vaccine by calling the province-wide call centre (1-833-838-2323). All of your information will be kept private and will never be shared with other agencies or parts of government.
