Can I still get a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test or TB blood test (IGRA) test if I’ve had a COVID-19 vaccine?

Question:

Can I still get a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test or TB blood test (IGRA) test if I’ve had a COVID-19 vaccine?

Answer:

Due to the theoretical risk that COVID-19 vaccines may temporarily affect cell-mediated immunity, (resulting in false-negative TB skin test [TST] or TB blood test [IGRA] test results), these tests should be given and a TST read before a COVID-19 vaccine or delayed for at least 4 weeks after immunization. A COVID-19 vaccine can be given any time after all steps of a TST or IGRA blood test have been completed.
