Can I get a copy of my or my child’s vaccination record from my local health unit?

Question:

Can I get a copy of my or my child’s vaccination record from my local health unit?

Answer:
Health units in B.C. maintain an electronic registry of immunizations provided by Public Health (public health nurses). Records may be available for pick-up at the health unit or sent by mail. If you or your child were vaccinated at a doctor’s office, at a pharmacy, or in a First Nations community, your records may not be in the Public Health registry.
