My two daughters received a chickenpox vaccine when they were 5 and 2, roughly 17 years ago. Do they need a booster now that they are 21 and 18?

Two doses of the chickenpox (varicella) vaccine are recommended for adults who have not had chickenpox disease.

You can find more information about the chickenpox vaccine in the HealthLinkBC File: Chickenpox (Varicella) Vaccine
