Hi, My son spat out most (about 3/4) of the rotavirus vaccine today. Will he still be able to build immunity from the small amount he got? Thank you,

We recommend that you contact your local public health unit and ask to speak with a public health nurse.  A public health nurse can gather the additional information from you that is needed to better answer your question. 

The rotavirus vaccine should not be re-administered following spitting up as the safety of administering a repeat dose of the rotavirus vaccine is not known.
