Can you purchase and get the shingles vaccine if you are under 50?

The shingles vaccine is recommended for people 60 years of age and older, however anyone 50 years of age and older can get the vaccine. The vaccine is not licensed for use in people under the age of 50. If you have further questions, please call your immunization provider.
